What is the state of the art? Are there new treatment strategies?

Over the last years new effective treatment concepts have been developed for a variety of blood diseases. In particular, the development of targeted therapies, often given in combination with chemotherapy, had a major impact on the prognosis of patients with various malignant diseases of the blood or lymph nodes. In many cases even a cure of the disease is possible.
